The Yorkshire & Humber region is home to a wealth of different artists, individuals and organisations working in live art.

Welcome to the Live Art Directory.

This directory aims to bring together the wealth of live art activity in the Yorkshire & Humber region.

This is an open resource for artists within and beyond the region and hopes to map some of the networks, opportunities, infrastructure and support available that can help facilitate their work.

If your organisation, space or network would like to be listed on this Directory, please follow this link to the Registration Form.

The term Live Art is not a description of an artform or discipline, but a cultural strategy to include experimental processes and experiential practices that might otherwise be excluded from established curatorial, cultural and critical frameworks. Live Art is a framing device for a catalogue of approaches to the possibilities of liveness by artists who chose to work across, in between, and at the edges of more traditional artistic forms.
