That Night Follows Day is a comical and poignant text by Tim Etchells, artistic director of internationally renowned theatre company Forced Entertainment. Addressing the audience directly, a chorus of children from 8 to 14 years explored and interrogated the range of advice, facts, truisms, white lies and excuses they hear from their elders. In partnership with Opera North Projects and Compass Festival, Forced Entertainment created a one-off rehearsed reading of the work performed by 16 children from Leeds.
