Junction is an award-winning, mixed-use arts facility in the port town of Goole, which opened in November 2009.  Operated and managed by Goole Town Council’s arts team, the event programme is a broad mixture of live shows across many artforms, participatory workshops, cinema and art exhibitions.  As well as an impressive theatre space, the building also has a separate workshop room, where many youth arts groups meet regularly, a café bar and houses the town council offices.  At the rear of the building, two artist studios are available for rent, ingeniously housed in converted shipping containers. As well as promoting a busy programme within the venue, Junction instigate community arts events across the town, working closely with partner agencies to bring great art to Goole.

Opportunities

Junction offer a series of regular workshops and weekly groups that are avalible to young people. They also do alot of work with local children on their Takeover Festival for which they are always looking for volutneers.
