The LBT (Lawrence Batley Theatre) is the centre of live performance for Huddersfield and the surrounding area. They run an exciting programme of performance, contemporary dance, opera, music, comedy and film. They have 3 performance spaces, an outdoor courtyard, exhibition facilities and are home to 4 resident companies. Last year the LBT welcomed over 55,700 people to over 370 performances. They also work extensively in local communities offering people of all ages the opportunity to experience the benefits of involvement in the arts, and are committed to getting young people involved through participation and performance.
