The Carriageworks Theatre is a family friendly venue run by Leeds City Council on Millennium Square. Showcasing the best national and regional productions with a dynamic programme of theatre, dance, comedy and film. Carriageworks Theatre also gives the Leeds community opportunities to take part in a variety of high quality arts activities from Carriageworks Young Theatre Makers to the Leeds Civic Arts Guild. There are two performance spaces – The Main Auditorium is a proscenium arch theatre with a capacity of 350, and caters for large-scale productions. Upstairs @ The Carriageworks is an intimate and flexible studio space with a maximum capacity of 75, and hosts an innovative selection of more intimate performances.
