An arts organisation which acts as a catalyst and an engine for: making connections and enabling dialogue and collaboration between discipline; facilitating communities to explore their urban living needs through creative thinking and arts/cultural practice; exploring performance/the performative in place-making and place-shaping and creating the context and conditions for innovative and experimental contemporary practice. Waymarking’s artistic programme focuses on performance in the built environment. It is about making, presenting, researching performance/performative work (including socially engaged practice) – that is dependent on the city, the cityscape and the built environment.
